Weve invested heavily in building ACBS technology
infrastructure. We offer a single point of access for a wide
range of products and services. You can log on once and conduct
multiple transactions. All you need to take advantage of our
technology is a PC, a standard Web browser and Internet access.
With many of our products, you can place an order, check status,
retrieve reports and review billing statements at the touch
of a button.
Our systems are: 1) user-friendly; 2) highly reliable; and

People
ACBS has a strong management team and a staff that blends the wisdom of years of experience
with the fresh thinking of professionals with diverse backgrounds
and education.
While we see technology as a tool, we believe that people
are the ultimate key to quality service. Unlike many companies
that offer online services, we maintain a full-time staff
of highly experienced customer service representatives. Our
typical CSR has an average of 10 years' experience.
What really differentiates our people is their attitude. They
take tremendous pride in their work and are true champions
when it comes to customer service. Hiding behind e-mail or
voice mail is simply not our style. Our people are always
available to answer questions, resolve issues and process
any requests you feel warrant special handling.
The Companys History
ACBS was established in 1916 as the Allentown Credit Exchange.
The Company was formed to protect businesses and to help deserving
consumers obtain credit. The firms business was gathering
and recording credit information and disseminating that information
in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
In 1946 the Company became known as the Credit Bureau of Allentown.
When the organization began expanding its geographical marketing
area in 1974, the name was changed to Associated Credit Bureau.
Over the years the Companys business evolved from a
credit bureau into an organization delivering a wide range
of credit-related and information products to help businesses
make better decisions.
Based on these changes and its mission to deliver Insight,
Information and Solutions to businesses, the Company
changed its name to ACBS in 2002.
